Privacy Policy

Unscroll is a product of Sorvanis ("we", "us"). It lets you save Instagram reels and posts — by sharing them to our Instagram account or by submitting a link — and turns them into an organized, searchable library of your own. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how you can have it deleted.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and authentication identifiers, provided through our sign-in provider (Clerk) when you create an account.
• Instagram identifiers — when you message our Instagram account, Instagram gives us a scoped user ID for you so we can associate what you send with your account. If you link your account, we may store your Instagram username.
• Content you submit — the reel or post links you send, and the media Instagram delivers to us for those items. From that we generate derived assets we do store: a low-resolution thumbnail, a few still frames, a text transcript, and an AI-generated summary.
• Usage data — basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

• To build and maintain your personal library of saved content.
• To generate summaries, transcripts, and search over what you save.
• To send you service messages about items you shared (within Instagram's messaging rules).
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Source content and links

A saved item always links back to the original Instagram post, and we do not re-host the original video. We keep only a low-resolution thumbnail, still frames, and a transcript so you can find and recall the content — the original stays on Instagram, where we point you. We delete the full downloaded video and audio as soon as those assets are generated. If you are a rights holder and want an item removed, see "Copyright" in our Terms of Service.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the service:

• Clerk — authentication and account management.
• Railway — application hosting and database.
• Meta / Instagram — messaging and content delivery via the official Instagram APIs.
• Apify — retrieving public content you ask us to save.
• xAI / OpenAI — generating transcripts and summaries of content you save.

Data retention

We keep your account and library while your account is active. We delete the raw downloaded video and audio for an item as soon as we finish processing it. If you delete an item, or your account, we remove the associated data. We also delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed for the purposes above.

Deleting your data

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing dev@sorvanis.ai from the email on your account, or with your Instagram username. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days. You may also revoke Unscroll's access to your Instagram account at any time from Instagram's settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at dev@sorvanis.ai.

Children

Unscroll is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
